Phlebotomy / POTC

A1c

The A1C test—also known as the hemoglobin A1C or HbA1c test—is a simple blood test that measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 3 months. It’s one of the commonly used tests to diagnose prediabetes and diabetes, and is also the main test to help you and your health care team manage your diabetes.

Lipid Panel

This group of tests measures the amount of cholesterol and other fats in your blood. Cholesterol and triglycerides are lipids, or fats. These fats are important for cell health, but they can be harmful when they build up in the blood.

BMP

The basic metabolic panel (BMP) is a blood test that gives doctors information about the body’s fluid balance, levels of electrolytes like sodium and potassium, and how well the kidneys are working.

PT-INR

A PT/INR test helps find out if your blood is clotting normally. It also checks to see if a medicine that prevents blood clots is working the way it should.

HIV-Ag/Ab

What is a HIV Ag AB test?An antigen/antibody test looks for both HIV antibodies and antigens. Antibodies are produced by your immune system when you’re exposed to viruses like HIV. Antigens are foreign substances that cause your immune system to activate. If you have HIV, an antigen called p24 is produced even before antibodies develop.

Hepatitis Panel

This is a panel of blood tests that looks to see whether you have a hepatitis virus infection. The tests may be known by different names, depending on your provider and lab. The tests look for antibodies that your body has made against a hepatitis virus. They also look for parts of a specific virus (antigens).

Total MS Testosterone

In women, testosterone tests are used primarily in cases of infertility, absence of menstruation, abnormal uterine bleeding, or if there is a suspicion of polycystic ovary syndrome or other cause of virilization (hoarse voice and hirsutism (abundance of body hair)).

Complete Testosterone Panel (free/total)

This test measures the levels of testosterone in your blood. Most of the testosterone in the blood is attached to proteins. Testosterone that is not attached to a protein is called free testosterone. There are two main types of testosterone tests: Total testosterone, which measures both attached and free testosterone.

TSH

TSH stands for thyroid stimulating hormone. A TSH test is a blood test that measures this hormone. The thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland located near your throat. Your thyroid makes hormones that regulate the way your body uses energy.

TSH w/Reflex

When the laboratory adds the Free T4 test to the blood sample automatically based on an abnormal TSH result, it referred to as “reflex” testing. Although laboratories vary, most report a normal TSH reference range between 0.4-0.5 mU/L on the lower end and 4-5.5 mU/L on the upper end of the range.

T4, free

A free T 4 test is used to find out how well your thyroid gland is working. T 4 is 1 of 2 hormones produced by the thyroid, a butterfly-shaped gland in your neck. There are 2 forms of T 4. Some T 4 in your blood is bound to proteins, and some T 4 circulates freely, or unbound from proteins.

CBC w/diff

A CBC test measures the total number of white cells in your blood. A different test called a CBC with differential measures the number of each type of these white blood cells. Platelets, which stop bleeding by helping your blood to clot.

CMP

A comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) is a test that measures 14 different substances in your blood. It provides important information about your body’s chemical balance and metabolism. Metabolism is the process of how the body uses food and energy

Insulin

This test measures the amount of insulin, the hormone that lets cells take in glucose. Glucose, a sugar that comes from food, is the body’s main source of energy. Glucose levels in the blood rise after meals and trigger the pancreas to make insulin and release it into the blood.

Vitamin B12

A vitamin B-12 level test checks the amount of vitamin B-12 in the blood or urine to gauge the body’s overall vitamin B-12 stores. Vitamin B-12 is necessary for several bodily processes, including nerve function and the production of DNA and red blood cells.

Vitamin

A vitamin D blood test measures the level of 25(OH)D in your blood. Abnormal levels of vitamin D can indicate bone disorders, nutrition problems, organ damage, or other medical conditions.

Covid Antibody IgG, IgM

Both SARS-CoV-2 IgM and IgG antibodies may be detected around the same time after infection. However, while IgM is most useful for determining recent infection, it usually becomes undetectable weeks to months following infection; in contrast, IgG is usually detectable for longer periods.

(POCT) Point Of Care

PT/INR

A PT/INR test helps find out if your blood is clotting normally. It also checks to see if a medicine that prevents blood clots is working the way it should.

Rapid Strep

A rapid strep test involves a quick throat swab. Within minutes, the test can show the presence of group A streptococcus bacteria, which can cause strep throat and other infections (including scarlet fever, abscesses, and pneumonia).

Rapid Covid Antigen Swab

Antigen tests are immunoassays that detect the presence of a specific viral antigen, which indicates current viral infection

Urine Dip 12 Panel

A dipstick — a thin, plastic stick with strips of chemicals on it — is placed in the urine. The chemical strips change color if certain substances are present or if their levels are above typical levels. A dipstick test checks for: Acidity (pH).

POC 12 Panel Urine Drug Screen

Our 12 Panel Drug Test screens for the basic drugs found in a 10 panel with the added screening of an expanded opiate class (e.g., OxyContin, Percocet, hydrocodone, and oxycodone) as well as an expanded amphetamine class that includes ecstasy, Molly, and MDMA.

Accuracy of Point of Care (POC) or In-office Urine Drug Testing (Immunoassay) in Chronic Pain Patients.

POC Pregnancy Test

POC | HCG, Qualitative (Pregnancy), Urine, POC

The kit detects concentrations of 20 mIU hCG/mL or greater. A test result that is positive should be interpreted in conjuction with other clinical and laboratory data.
